In a nutshell I paid $39 for a working megaphone and I got what I paid for and am pleased. If you want a megaphone to have some fun with and you don't care if it is comically cheap and lacking in quality from one end to the other you can get one for only $39 and it works. If you are using it on the job or for some important reason and it has to hold up and endure any amount of use don't do it.
More specifically;
Plus's
It works.
Although I can yell louder than it can it does not strain my voice and the slightly distorted"megaphone" sound carries more authority than my yelling.
It can be understood.
The siren is handy.
It is rechargeable.
It looks serious.
Minus's
The buttons wobble and they and the volume control are of terribly low quality
The mike is of terribly low quality.
The battery/charging module is cheaply made. It has to be removed and plunged into the wall. Its thin stamped metal plug blades are so thin they won't even stay in the outlet.

All I want is to ask boaters in the canal outside of my back door to slow down for the No Wake Zone. I will probably get bored with it before it wears out. It is perfect.
